WHO WE ARE:

'EXPOSED' started off pretty humbly. Two 20-something girls (your hosts Kay and Abi, who incidentally love writing in the third person) met via a classic rock message board and quickly realized a couple things. First, they were pretty much the youngest members of the forum by a NUMBER of years, and second, they shared a great love of rock music. In fact, though a shared love of rock was the starting point, they soon realized that they had a LOT in common beyond rock 'n roll and struck up a close friendship. Behold the power of this amazing, legendary music!

It was Abi's suggestion to begin 'EXPOSED'. Both girls already talked together regularly on the phone about the latest classic rock news of the week, new releases from their favorite bands and so forth- so why not create a weekly talk radio program to share that conversation with the public?

They also strongly felt that they had a unique perspective as "young fans". Earned or not, classic rock has picked up a reputation for being "boomer music"... and, well, with Kay and Abi born in 1984 and 1985 respectively, they are decidedly *NOT* of the baby boomer generation. Classic rock wasn't just something to be enjoyed by their parents, and the girls were determined to prove it to the world!!!

... or, at least the *WORLD*wide web. :)

BlogTalkRadio provided just the right medium for Kay and Abi to fully realize their dream show. With a central call-in switchboard, not only could they broadcast live online, they could take calls from fellow fans.

The show premiered on Sunday night, September 14th, 2008. Though the first episode barely ran an hour, suffered from technical difficulties and lacked a fully realized structure, it was a starting point. Since then, EXPOSED has broadcast over 50 episodes to date and has developed a loyal online following. Regular segments include:

Kay and Abi also love having guests on the show! Past interview subjects include Lou Antonelli (film director of "ONE LIVE KISS" with Paul Stanley), fan events coordinator & Superfan Lizzy of Broadway's "Rock of Ages", KISS Comic Book artist Adam Black, STYX tribute artist Jim Vignato, KISS tribute artist Steve Stanley and classic rock journalist/author Sterling Whitaker.

Now heading in to their second year, Kay & Abi look forward to making 'EXPOSED' bigger and better than ever. They always have new ideas up their sleeve for theme shows and work hard to schedule exciting new interviews with the people that make rock music what it is:

"KICKA**!!"

So even if you've missed out on the show up until now, don't worry! It's never too late to join in! Pull up a chair and join Kay & Abi every Sunday night at 6pm (EST). And if you can't be there for the live broadcast, you can download previous episodes in the archives for your iTunes, mp3 player, iPod... your trusty android robo-dog... whatever method you use to jam along to your favorite rock music!
